anyway i'm off for cosfest this weekend!! :D setting up a booth again, this time with a different group of people..although sk and lin are still with me :p can't wait for the chalet! (which starts tmr night, hehehe)
oh oh, and! i've finally passed the halfway mark for iap! now i just have to make it through 1.5 months more of work...
lesigh, i feel super last minute can. i went to print the bookmarks with sk just now, and the lady printed two extra sheets for me despite me saying i only wanted three in total ): i was REALLY pissed off, but i didn't want to kick up a fuss in her shop -_- so i coughed up an extra four bucks and left. argh, how annoying!! this means i'll have WAY more bookmarks than i'm confident of selling, wth. i was telling sk that MAYBE this was a blessing in disguise and i'd end up selling all 30 sets. which is very unlikely, given the circumstances =A=
first off, the extra badges and stuff from last year. too much stuff to sell, and people would only buy the best stuff from each booth. i'm a consumer myself, so i should know how kiasu singaporeans can be at conventions. i doubt 30 people are going to come along and buy all those sets.
secondly, the competition. i mean, PANDABAKA, MANDACHAN, SUKIBLOG, BRILCRIST AND ALL THOSE PWNSOME ARTISTS ARE GOING TO BE THERE. SELLING STUFF. (and i'll be patronizing their booths as well because they're so awesome, but that's beside the point) so yes, by the time people visit our booth, most of their money would've already been spent on those other booths. HETALIA CHOCOLATE, WHO CAN RESIST THAT =A=
thirdly, the horrible booth location. i don't understand how we could've gotten worse booths than last year, but we did. smack right at the back, at the very corner. whoop, aren't we so lucky.
i SWEAR, i will feel so blessed if i can even make fifty bucks from this convention.
well, i guess if i sell ALL my KH bookmarks, i'll earn 90 bucks. and if i sell all my TTGL bookmarks, i'll get 24 bucks. and as for my badges...if i sell them all, i'll get 60 bucks. a whopping 174 bucks if i sell every single thing i have...plus misc bookmarks from last year. WHICH WON'T BE HAPPENING BUT I'LL TRY TO BE OPTIMISTIC hurhur.
